Do you have a Jio SIM?….. Watch this year’s entire IPL for free…. in your JioCinema app….!!!!

Reliance Jio’s JioCinema may not be as popular as Netflix or Amazon Prime, but it is one of the most widely used apps from Reliance Jio’s suite of apps. Jio defines JioCinema as a video library of movies, TV shows, music videos, Jio shorts, documentaries and trailers. In simple words, JioCinema is a video streaming service by Jio where you can watch movies, TV shows, Jio exclusives, documentaries and trailers. The app supports both smartphone and web platform.

Android users can download JioCinema from the Google Play Store, iOS users from the AppStore, and Samsung Z2 device users from the Tyson Store. The app is free for now but expect the company to charge for services going forward. JioCinema offers movies and TV shows in genres such as action, comedy, romance, documentaries, history, thrillers and more.

Jio recently partnered with Disney India to offer popular Disney movies like Toy Story 3, The Jungle Book, The Lion King and more. However, you need to unlock access to the GeoDisney section by sharing the Disney link with five of your contacts via WhatsApp, SMS, Instagram or Facebook. JioCinema supports Chromecast so you can watch the content on your big TV screen.

How to start JioCinema:  Before we tell you how to start the service, it is important to know that you can run JioCinema on a phone only if you have a Jio SIM. However, this is not the case with the web version. You can play Geocinema on the Internet while connected to any operator of your choice.

If you are going to use the web version, download the JioCinema app from the Play Store or visit jiocinema.com. You can login using your Jio ID or Jio phone number. Tap on GET OTP. Use the OTP to login to the service. It will ask you to select your language options

Languages:  JioCinema offers content from the following languages – Hindi, English, Marathi, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam, Bengali, Gujarati, Punjabi and Bhojpuri.

JioCinema Features: Just like Amazon Prime and Netflix, JioCinema comes with some nifty features that make it easy for subscribers to use. Earlier, the IPL was streamed online on Disney+Hotstar and those who subscribed to the platform could only access the matches there.

The FIFA World Cup 2022 was streamed on JioCinema with a multicam feature that basically allows users to switch between multiple camera angles for all 74 matches. Users can stream IPL 2023 for free with the help of the same feature that JioPhone already comes with JioCinema. In addition to multiple camera angles, JioCinema allows users to view statistics such as scores and pitch heat maps on phones.

Especially when streaming the FIFA World Cup, people struggled to watch the match as the app couldn’t handle the heavy load. JioCinema users can watch matches in 12 different languages including English, Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali and Bhojpuri. The commentary and statistics will ultimately change according to the choice of language one wishes to view. Meanwhile, Reliance Jio has rolled out 5G services in around 277 Indian cities. However, some users are complaining about call drop issues.
